Most baseball teams have settled where their spring training sites will be, now that the government won’t let them travel to sunny Florida or California. Some teams, like the St. Louis clubs are still searching. With baseball spanning to the west coast, it seems foreign to modern fans, but St. Louis was big-league baseball’s western frontier until the Dodgers moved to Los Angeles long after the war.
