  • Doug,

I know what you mean, but there is no such thing as “just an 0311.”

    Best regards,
    Chris

  • I will allways remember ’86 My trasport broke down in the some medium sized town, As I walked the streets I was welcomed everywhere as if I was someone of importance. I was just an 0311.

  • I remember well this deployment and training. Mountain and Artic training is some of the most brutal and demanding as our kids are discovering in Astan right now. Even worse, it’s not unusual to go from months in Vapor Barrier boots with soft and gushy feet to desert or jungle warfare schools within a few weeks. Preparing to be “the first to fight” in “every clime and place” is not for the faint of heart but vital.
