Not true: Obama’s State of the Union

Daniel Foster at National Review does a good job “fact-checking” the State of the Union speech, and surprisingly enough, AP chimes in as well.

Fact-checking, hell! I say in addition to his teleprompters, Obama needs a polygraph test any time he speaks.

And if only Justice Sam Alito had the intestinal fortitude of Rep. Joe Wilson – “You lie” is far more effective and accurate than mouthing “Not true.” I say we start putting mics on certain officials in attending the State of the Union addresses, like they do on baseball games or NFL Films. That would make things far more interesting.

It’s high time the lies were exposed and defeated – not just by National Review writers, but by those who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution itself.
