Pacific and Far East.
- U. S. submarines have reported the following results of operations against the enemy in the waters of these areas:
- (a) one destroyer sunk.
- (b) One large cargo ship sunk.
- (c) One medium-sized transport sunk.
- (d) One medium-sized cargo ship sunk.
- (e) One small patrol vessel sunk.
- (f) One large tanker damaged.
- (g) One small cargo ship damaged.
- These actions have not been announced in any previous Navy Department communiqué.
