Far East.
- U. S. submarines have reported the following results of operations against the enemy in Far Eastern waters:
- (a) Two large tankers sunk.
- (b) One large passenger cargo ship sunk.
- (c) Two medium-sized cargo ships sunk.
- (d) Two small cargo ships sunk.
- (e) One converted carrier damaged and set on fire.
- (f) One destroyer damaged.
- (g) One medium-sized tanker damaged.
These actions have not been announced in any previous Navy Department communiqué.
