So long as it is used as a prelude for on-demand abortion, it's pretty ok eh Buck?

Wing, this is an important tool that all women should use to determine if they are going to give birth to a defective fetus. As women grow older the risk of having a Downs syndrome fetus increases. This is what happened to the wife of Santorum, and he opted to keep it. Now what happens next since he won't use a contraceptive, is the possibility of another defective fetus. At what point will he come to the realization that this can not continue ad infinitum.

Just answer the question that I imposed, are you for or against prenatal testing?

I thought he answered it quite well. I would be more for pre-parental testing.

Yeah Jim, but some people need a whack in the forehead with a 2x4...just to get their attention first. For the record, I do NOT like it. Did Rick Santorum ask you to raise his baby for him? Has he applied for public funding to do so? The answer to both questions is no, and it is therefore none of your business what he does. That about sums up my attitude on the subject.

And who will care for these defective infants when the parents are to old to do so?

So killing it early is the answer so that elderly parents or foster parents do/can not take care of the infant?

Kiwi, in a perfect world that would be wonderful, but institutions are full of defective humans that nobody wants to burden themselves with.

Should we rid ourselves of all defective humans? That would clean out the majority of liberals though. Maybe you are on to something here, Buck.

Jim, over 90% of Down syndrome fetuses are aborted. Can you imagine the problems that would ensue if they were all brought to term?

So, how many human beings would you say have been killed because they had Down syndrome Buck?

Sure. An awful lot of inconvenience for the parents. God bless those that have those children and treat them as the part of their family that they are. God will damn those that choose to kill their babies.

What is sad Jim is that Buck would kill people who can often grow up into adulthood, take care of themselves, and lead a productive life.

We have two such people who work at our local Homeland store. Both are delightful people.

Pre natal testing could be used to determine genetic deficiencies and, hopefully, determine a treatment pattern, not an extermination pattern.

Are you reading what you are writing? You are saying that killing a human being is OK so that it is not inconvenient to another,m who may or may not have chosen to have a child or at least to have sex. That is sick. You are condoning the destroying of a human being so other may not have to have a difficult life.

I am not condoning it, society does with 90% of down syndrome fetuses being aborted. What I am for is prenatal testing to determine if you are carrying a defective fetus. The choice is made by the parents.
