Lets be sure to legalize drugs so that we can have even more ruined lives like hers.

Yet another tragic, wasted life and talent...

There were and are times in my life I think about what it would like to be rich and famous...

And there are times like this when I imagine it's not all it's cracked up to be.

When I found out about this, this morning, I immediately (sp?) looked up Whitney Houston Star Spangled Banner on Youtube for one of the Superbowl games.
After watching it again with my wife, her performance litterally brought tears to our eyes.

I made my kids watch it and described her life before and after she accepted her boyfriend's illegal drug habbits.

My kids are 12 and 10 yrs old.

A true shame to lose such a beautiful talent that this young lady was gifted with.
I don't know what the cause of her death was and I doubt anyone else here does either,
But, she did know the Lord Jesus Christ and she now sings for Him.

This brought tears to my eyes as well CP:

The Bible says "The wages of sin is death." It absolutely amazes me how the list just goes on and on: Amy Winehouse, John Candy, John Belushi, Len Bias, Jim Morrison, John Entwistle, Janis Joplin, Chris Nilan, Cass Elliott... And despite example after sad example, we wake up to another news story of some celebrity who thought they could manage it and couldn't.

I love and respect her music and her talents. But I envy no one on this earth for their celebrity. I hope someone can come forward and stop her daughter from embracing the same lifestyle as her parents have. There is no possible good ending for her if not...
