Both myself and wife have IRA's, and we must take out a specified amount of money each year that has never been taxed. As of this coming year I must take out about 30 G that I will have to pay income tax on. Why not redo the IRS rules that would force the very wealthy to take out more money depending on their net worth and amount of money in their IRA. Or even better yet, have all IRA holders remove their untaxed money at a higher rate. Any comments???

Just a savings plan, but I think "some" of that money could be put to good use to rebuild America. I would gladly participate.

Is there any reason why you don't send your check in, Buck?

You said "just a savings plan." If you meant that then you do not have the slightest idea what an IRA is all about. Period.

To "Force" the super rich to take out more....

Why not just put on your green bowling shirt and cap and go out in the town square for your collective's exercises, as you sing the praises of Dear Leader, Buck-

You're just about there.

How can you tax anything to rebuild America, much less the wealthy? The premise of the original post is oxymoronic.

Taxes have allowed our country to survive and thrive since the writing of the constitution. Now it seems as though we can rebuild our country without them. The question now is, who, and what, should be taxed.. Any suggestion's from you tax experts.

Someone is sounding like the child/woman who keeps spending more than the hubby earns and browbeats him to go get more money instead of cutting back on spending...
