Buck, assuming that you mean we have to set the date some months or years before the end of the war, please answer the following questions:

When and what date did we set to end the Revolutionary War?

When and what date did we set to end the War of 1812?

When and what date did we set to end the Civil War?

When and what date did we set to end the Spanish-American War?

When and what date did we set to end WWI?

When and what date did we set to end WWII?

When and what date did we set to end the war in Korea?

If you answers is that we didn't set a date before hand then explain why we should do so in this war or any other war.

This is not a war in Afghanistan, just nation building. BTW, when did we declare war on Afghanistan?

I see that you refuse to answer the questions which proves your argument about setting a date is not only not valid but shows a complete lack of understanding about how to fight a war.

I will answer your question with a question like you did for me. When did we declare war on Korea? Vietnam? Contrary to the Liberal/Progressive popular belief it does not take a declaration of war for the US to be in or at war.

Buddy, read this carefully, and if you don't think we should get out of Afghanistan, you are stupid, or just plain nuts.

This AM, both Santorum and Newt said that we should get out of Afghanistan ASAP because of this episode. I said it last month and this proves my point.

I am not surprised in the least. I lay all of it at the feet of Obama. It is very reminiscent of My Lei where another set of Democrats forced our troops to fight in a war which they had no intention of wining. That group ruined the military at the time and it was over a decade before they came back. I have seen the lagging moral from the troops who come through the Military Welcome Center increase over time. They are starting to question why they should put their lives on the line for a President who will not let them win. I question it too. All the lives which have been lost since Obama came into power are laid at his feet. He mist be run from office at the first opportunity before he waists even more American blood.
