This is bizarre, a Canadian man on holiday in Costa Rica, feell down a ravince & broke his jaw. He was taken to hospital & when he woke up they had removed his healthy kidney, presumably to sell on the black market. I've been to San Jose many times & always considered itone of the safer Central American cities.

That's just what I was thinking...
I've heard stories of people waking up in bathtubs filled with ice water, with their kidneys gone...
Those stories have been proven frauds again and again...

Its true, he is in hospital in Kelowna right now. It was on the Local TV news tonight. it will be in the paper tommorrow, I will post a link.

Saw it on the BCTV 11:00 News tonight, with film clip of the guy in Hospital. I'm sure they said it was in Mexico, though...
