This report, "Hinge of History", is for those you who have an interest in how an event in 1948 impacts our day.
===================================================

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'

I'm going to examine one of the most pivotal years in history: 1948. You'll be amazed at the sheer number and scope of events that occurred or inventions and entities that were developed in that critical year -- all of which are necessary to the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies concerning the end of this Age. I believe 1948 was the year in which God's final countdown clock started ticking. In fact, I believe it is modern history's turning point. Many of the events and accomplishments of 1948 began to set the stage for the final days of this Age. But the most critical event by far, and the one that makes all of the others important in the prophetic scenario, was the birth of the modern nation of Israel. I'll discuss why that miraculous milestone alone qualifies 1948 as the 'Hinge of History.'

Don't miss this week's "Report" here Sunday.

God Bless,

Hal Lindsey

Note: This report will be aired this Sunday at 10 PM CDT on the DayStar channel (Direct TV channel 369). And again, Monday at 10 PM CDT on the Inspirational Channel (Direct TV channel 364). I watched the Friday night airing.

Also on Sunday the program, “End of the Age” following Lindsey, at 10:30 PM CDT) is worth watching.

Viewed both programs tonight and enjoyed them. A lot of truth there and all I can say is: "Come quickly Lord Jesus!"

Amen to that Jack..."Come quickly Lord Jesus!"

Been watching several of Dr. David Reagan's programs, "Lamb and Lion Ministries". He asks a question of 11 different experts such as, "Will the Antichrist in the end-time rule from Rome or Babylon"? The interview of each is shown and they explain the why's of their opinion and then at the end a summary of all is looked at. Reagan provides his understanding position at the end. There is no disrepect of another's view. Just a look as to why they understand the way they do, from a scriptural position.

Sure is refreshing to see that different views can be discussed without someone putting others down for their point-of-view. Remember awhile back on that other forum when I posted a quick summary of some of the views concerning the book of Revelation and then stated I was a "futurist". What a disappointment...some could not accept that maybe another person had a view differing from theirs.
