Was reading in the book of Romans (10:9) that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;

"Jesus as Lord" means that He is Lord, or Yahweh. In the O.T. the name for God is Lord, or Yahweh; thus when we confess that Jesus is Lord we are affirming His deity.

It is a fact for a coin to be a coin it has to have two sides, heads and tails.

It is also a fact for a person to be saved (twice-born) requires two sides (parts), one side is our confession (with our mouth) that Jesus Christ is Lord and the other side is that we believe (in our heart) He is Lord.

I'm so thankful to Jesus Christ for providing us the gift of salvation! We serve a mighty God!!!

Amen as well. Best decision I ever made.

Many confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts, and are genuinely saved; however, they do not expand this confession and belief, and remain baby Christians throughout their lives, never enjoying the fruits of that confession and belief.
