    They are truly beatuiful, as long as you’re not at Ft. Braggg, in the old 82nd Division barracks at the end of the runway of Pope AFB awaiting deployment in July when these bad oscars are taking turns doing take offs & landings & aborted landings with a half dozen C-17s.

    In short, I hate these gorgeous bastards!

    That ain’t “double ugly”, that title is reserved for the F-4!

  • They are my favorite as well. Glad I was never on the receiving end of an A-10 strike.

    One of the best things the Air Force has ever brought to the fight….I am biased as they, the A-10’s, have saved my bacon once or twice.
